A gentleman with nesty whitish hair plopped down in the shiny red booth kitty-corner from me, as his wife ordered their food. He donned a long sleeved canary colored tee, khakis and light blue sneaks. He looked nap-missed tired, but still upbeat-lively. His demeanor spoke many languages.

He had a respectful intent not to disturb, with an overwhelming selfishness to, if the need was strong enough. Like opening a bag of chips in a speechless and dim kitchen at 1:30 in the morn. For a few unbreathable seconds, you try not to wake anyone with the piercing crumpling. Then, you just rip through the bag so you can get to the goods and retreat back to hush mode.

In his eyes, you could see the wear from a pursuit to overcome struggles, balanced with tremendous peace from a realization that you could just abandon them altogether - instead of dousing them with the depleting energy of harder. His hands were shaking, but his wisdom kept him steady. He sat happy.

His wife scooted in across from him for a quick smirky chat before their food was up. I wondered what they saw together, what they'd been through. They were decorated perfectly with laughprints from a lifetime of smiles and giggles. Their faces full of experience. There were no boundaries between them. Contentment was theirs.

As I stood up, I took one last peek. I saw myself with my Shotgun Rider, Elyse - just as they were. Chillaxin' at a lunch, gazing at each other with wonder, knowing that all is good enough and laughing by the ton.

Endless Love - Always,

Jimmy
